State of the Union
So, here’s the thing — I’ve tried to transition over to a daytime schedule over the last couple of weeks. Twitter Novel updates have suffered as a result — the last update was 10 days ago, and any attempt at scheduling the tweets has ended in failure.
I don’t like doing that project — or at least posting those tweets — during the day. I don’t want to be the guy who floods timelines when people are actually trying to make sense of what’s going on that day. I much prefer to have the updates there when the majority of my followers wake up, to be read at one’s own convenience. So putting together the tweets during the day is a no-go.
There are two ways I’m thinking of going about it from here on out — one, tweet stupidly early in the morning (4:30 or so). Two — finish out this part of the book and turn it into a miniseries (which is something I’ve been toying with since the idea for this storyline first came to me). I’d post up the final updates to this bit on the Twitter Novel Project blog, then take a month off (as I do between projects), then start with part two of the miniseries.
Thoughts? Alternate ideas? I’d love to hear them.
