First day as a senior citizen.
28 July 2011
So, my alarm didn’t go off this morning. I didn’t wake up too late, but later than I should have. My knee (which I busted up when I was 10) was hurting, and my throat was terribly dry.
I’m 33 now. I can only conclude that I qualify for reduced bus fares, discounts on senior-sized coffee, and priority 4 p.m. seating at most restaurants.
32 was a great year for me, and though I’m closing in on the mandatory retirement age, I’ve decided to continue working. That said, I’ve got several projects just about ready to roll, and I hope to be announcing them here soon.
Stay tuned. 😉

Pick up your cane and lawn chair to start telling those “kids” to get off your lawn.
I’ve got 11 years on you and it’s weird to think I’m closer to retirement than I am to when I started working
Shawn is an old man who lives at the school.
Oh, come on now Shawn!
Duuuuude… c’mon. I’ll be 50 next month and I’m heading to Lollapalooza to celebrate. Life is a feast, and you just only hit the appetizers.
