Funny, right? But there’s something else going on there, something even more impressive than the author’s massive sense of humor. It’s a lesson in storytelling, and it’s a great one.
Adam perfectly illustrates that it’s not entirely the story you tell as it is how you tell it. Look at one of the stories objectively, and you’ll realize it probably isn’t that odd. But look at the way Adam tells the story — his language, his art, his humor — is what separates him from your random buddy telling the same story. Reading through his site, I couldn’t help but think that this guy is a master storyteller, and it’s a pleasure reading his stuff. It’s a tragedy this guy doesn’t have a six-figure book deal yet.
