We don’t stop moving.

6 April 2011

Last night, I posted the first chapter of the sixth Twitter Novel Project (you can check it out here). I’ve got a ton of stuff going on in my life right now — prepping for a move across the country, work, several other writing projects — so why am I putting more on an already full plate?

I thought about that in the run-up to this one after the long slog that was 200 Days. I reasoned with myself that I could probably take a bit longer break after that one, but I never really considered not doing a sixth Twitter book. Part of it is the audience, who I respect enough not to just cut off because I have other stuff going on.

OK, that’s most of it, really. Sure, I thought of a fun story idea that’d be fun to tell, but it’s more about the audience than anything at this point.

Besides, it keeps me writing every night, regardless of what else is going on, so that’s never a bad thing.

What about you, folks? What are you working on at the moment?

I’m giving another collaboration a go, a science fiction thriller with a bit of everything. Editing and beefing up Iron Falls, which is becoming Iron Falls: The Enemy Within, and am answering a writing challenge set by a writing buddy. Lastly, am deciding if I should get me a new bed or a one way ticket to Australia.
