It is, truly, a Friday.
And for the first time in a long time, I can actually act like it’s a Friday.
Yesterday was a big day — not only did I write the last few words on 200 Days, but I realized it was also the one-month anniversary of 47 Echo‘s release. So I sat there, all done with everything on my to-do list, and watched an episode of Battlestar Galactica before I went to bed at about 3:30 in the morning.
I plan to use today as an actual Friday — just do my day job, go home, and relax until at least midnight (wherein it becomes Saturday). Oh, I still have plenty of non-day-job work to do — edits on 47 Echo 2, work on Blunt Force Trauma, research on 47 Echo 3, brainstorming and planning for the next Twitter Novel Project. . . but for once, I’m not going to do any of it until tomorrow.
For once, I’m going to recognize Friday for all it should be.
And it is gorgeous out today, y’all.
So, wherever and however this message finds you, enjoy your Friday! I’ll certainly be enjoying mine.
