“See You In The Car.” — Milhouse
I mentioned military yearbooks in my Carina Press post for the release of 47 Echo, and I was kind of surprised that not many people knew they were out there. I knew of military yearbooks before I was aware of high school ones — that’s just how I was raised, I guess.
Still, as some of you might not be familiar with this awesomeness, I present you with one of the jewels of my collection (which has been used for more than a fair amount of research), the 26th Marine Expeditionary Unit yearbook:

The men responsible for the yearbook, and any kickass photos inside. Also, one is named Cpl. Rock. How badass is that?
I love these yearbooks more than I probably should. They’re a glimpse into a year in the life of our men and women serving the country, and I think everyone should take a look through one if they have the chance.
Ha. I still have a bunch of these from younger days.
